Create a new Workspace

A workspace in ProcessMaker can be defined as a directory where a user can independently manage various processes and cases, and work with them as a cohesive unit. Workspaces are very helpful in complex organizations where maintenance can be challenging. Likewise, workspaces allow for a ProcessMaker Hosted environment, with different simultaneous users.
ProcessMaker can work with different workspaces.
In the URL of the following graphic, “workflow” represents the name of the active workspace.
To create a new workspace, follow these steps:
1. Log in as an admin user for the existing workspace.
2. Open the following link:
http://[SERVER_NAME]:[SERVER_PORT]/sys[YOUR_WORKSPACE]/en/green/install/newSite
3 Enter the information as prompted in the following screen:
• Name: corresponds to the name of the new workspace to be created
• Database Options: names of the ProcessMaker databases that will be created
• Workspace Administrator: Defines the credentials of the admin user for the workspace that will be created. By default the username and password are “admin”
4 Click on “Open workspace” to open the created workspace
