Overview

Enterprise Search is a plugin designed to provide a solution that helps users to search using the dynaforms defined in each process. The Enterprise Search Solution will also helps users to conduct different advanced searches based on processes and dynaforms in those processes. Because this solution is based on SOLR, it will scale to meet the demanding search needs of enterprises with thousands of users.

Requirements

ProcessMaker Requirements

  • ProcessMaker v2.5.x or higher (stable version + available hotfix)
  • Enterprise Plugin v2.0.17 or higher (stable version + available hotfix)
  • Solr Installed v.4 or higher.

Browser Requirements

  • Mozilla Firefox (v24.0)
  • Chrome (v 30.0.1599.69 m)
  • IE v.8 and IE v.9

Features

  • It is designed to search in a data level, in all cases generated within ProcessMaker, It uses dynaforms as a search interface so the plugin is able to search data at a very short time, thanks to Solr tool.

It includes:

    • Save: it is possible to save searches from the user interface.
    • Edit: It is possible to edit search criteria.
    • Rename: It is possible to rename saved searches, from My Search list.
    • Delete: It is possible to delete saved searches.
    • Master Form: It is possible to define a form as a Master Form where users can create their own dynaform and select which fields will be visible in the search.
    • Share: users can manage their searches and share them with specific users or a user group registered in ProcessMaker, giving them Edit and View permissions.
    • Possibility to continue the case execution from a search and of the user has the correct permission check the Process Map, Process Information, Task Information, Case History, Messages History, Dynaforms, Uploaded Documents y Generated Documents.
    • Check information about Output and Input documents and Messages.
    • Add case notes.
    • Check the summary of the case.
    • Use the Pause, Reassign and Cancel actions.
    • Favorites: It is possible to save searches as favorites, so the most important searches can be accessed easily.

Known Issues

It is not possible to search in Currency Fields, this will be solved in ProcessMaker version 2.5.2
